When the house is quiet
And Little Bit is asleep
I pray her dreams
Are comforting and sweet
From the light in her eyes
And the laughter she brings
My mind is at peace
And my heart sings
There’s a warmth in her smile
That melts away the sorrow
There’s the strength of love in her heart
That brings hope for tomorrow
My Chloe is precious
An angel to me
She gives me a reason
To hold on and believe
She’s made me a better person
She has given me light
And now I’m truly grateful
For the simple things in life.
